Originally from suburban Delaware, Dr. Didehvar earned his undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech. He then moved to Philadelphia, where he attended the University of Pennsylvania (PennVet) for veterinary school. Dr. Didehvar subsequently completed a one-year general medicine and surgery rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center (AMC) in New York City. Following his passion for cancer treatment, he completed a one-year speciality internship in oncology clinical trials, followed by a three-year medical oncology residency, both at the University of Pennsylvania (PennVet). After completing his residency and achieving board certification, Dr. Didehvar moved to San Francisco.

Dr. Didehvar is interested in the treatment of all varieties of cancer, with options ranging from immunotherapy and chemotherapy to palliative care. His primary focus is on patient comfort and quality of life. Outside of work, he enjoys thrift shopping, world travel, leisure reading, and good food.
